The Mauritanian Center for Researches & Strategic Studies CMERS includes four bodies: the General Assembly, the Board of Trustees, the Executive Office and Body of experts andadvisers.

In order to succeed in its mission, the CMERS works on the achievement of the following objectives:

1- Providing researchers, intelligentsia, and decision-makers with the accurate information, data and useful analysis.

Regarding the growing awareness about the significant role accurate scientific data and objective substantive field Studies play in decision-making; in addition to the availability of informatics under the new atmosphere of freedom of expression our country enjoys nowadays, The CMERS endeavors to be the leading research institution in the field of surveys and studies.
